![]() Merge is a new and unique event designed to help young adults begin to discern which direction in life they are being led. Merge is for youth in grade 12 as well as young adults in their undergraduate degree who may not feel the call to ministry. How can God use individuals in their career choice? Christian professionals from different career paths will be speaking about how they determined their career path, what steps they took to get there, and how they integrate their faith into their everyday lives. We hope that those who attend Merge will understand that God can use them in the profession they choose and that they can be a strong disciple of Christ wherever they are. If you have any questions, or to let us know if you are attending, or for directions, please e-mail ABY.

In our on-going vision for “healthy, growing churches,” the Atlantic Baptist Mission Board will be sponsoring three Natural Church Development (NCD) training events this coming April. Bill Bickle, Canadian Coordinator for NCD, has been invited to conduct these one-day seminars throughout our Convention. Open to pastors and lay leaders alike, the seminars are designed to enhance the skills of your church leadership in getting the greatest benefit from the use of this resource. If your church has already completed one or more NCD surveys, then this seminar is for you. Following the morning plenary session you will meet with Bill Bickle to focus on how to interpret survey results and implement strategies for growth. If your church has not yet done an NCD survey, then this seminar is also for you. The afternoon sessions will focus on how to get started in your church.
