Announcement for CBAC’s Administrative Assistant and Event Coordinator

We are excited to announce the appointment of Cathy Parks as the new CBAC Administrative Assistant and Event Coordinator, starting June 24, 2024. In this new role, Cathy will support the CBAC Team to enable systems, connections, meetings, and events to happen efficiently and effectively to meet our goals.

Renée MacVicar, CBAC’s Executive Minister, says: “We are so pleased Cathy Parks will be joining our team at CBAC! Cathy has the administrative skills and experience to support our team, Council, and the Atlantic Baptist Mission Board. She also has the passion and ability to help CBAC with event coordination, a huge need as we seek to gather our CBAC family in various ways throughout the year for connection, coaching and inspiration. Cathy has a unique blend of leadership, administrative, graphic and communication skills that are perfect for this role. Cathy comes to us from The Point Church, in the Miramichi NB, where she’s served for 10 years, first as their Executive Ministry Assistant and more recently as the Communications Coordinator. We’re thrilled Cathy will be moving to Moncton and regularly working out of the CBAC office. Pray for Cathy as she makes this transition.”

Cathy says, “I’m so excited to be joining the CBAC team and helping them continue to resource our local churches. I can’t wait to see what God has in store!”
