Bikers Hold Service at Little River
About 60 people assembled at Little River Baptist Church (NS) for a special service on July 17th. The congregation started their service and then were joined by about 40 motorcyclists, many representing Christian Motorcycle Association and the local motorcycle club, the Defenders.
The National Evangelist for the CMA, Malcolm Reade, a Sackville NB resident, preached the message in a rolling service that had as one of its stops the historic Little River Church. The congregation joined in the service and many thought it a wonderful service and something we should do again.
It was a wonderful thing to see the people of the church warmly receive and join with the local cyclists, many of which thanked the congregation for welcoming them as they did. Rev Chris Greer was asked to close the service with a special prayer for the cyclists. As they drove away, most of the cyclists waved to the members of the congregation watching them drive away.
