Andrew Myers Assumes New Role

Saint John, New Brunswick– The Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC) is pleased to announce that Andrew Myers (Communications Manager) will be assuming the role of Assistant to the Director of Leadership Development beginning October 1, 2018. Andrew has been serving as Communications Manager for the CBAC since joining the team in March 2009. Andrew’s Communications responsibilities will finish after the hire of a suitable replacement.

Andrew will assume tasks currently managed by Dale Taber who is concluding her work with the CBAC at end of October. This includes working closely with the Director of Leadership Development, Rev. Dr. Garth Williams, who gives direction to this critical priority in the CBAC’s calling to walk with pastors as they journey in ministry. The responsibilities of this position will continue to include working alongside the Board of Ministerial Standards & Education and Examining Council. Additionally, Andrew will give key support to CBAC’s priority of 75 emerging leaders (total of 150 pastor leaders) through storytelling, videos, social media and more.

“We are grateful for the solid foundation and years of consistent and commendable service set by Dale in this work with the BMSE, Examining Council and with Garth. We are sad to say good-bye to Dale but thankful that there can be a smooth transition to another of our staff,” shares CBAC Executive Minister Rev. Dr. Peter Reid. “As a valued member of our team, Andrew brings to this role his years of stellar work in the Communications department along with a willingness to tackle and master every responsibility he has been given. We are so glad Andrew is going to remain part of the team and we are excited for what Andrew will bring to this position.”
